As people are trying to save money and make cuts to try to stay above water we decided to spin the subject a little and start talking about some proactive things you can do too make some extra money.  Saving money is important but making money can be just as helpful.  One way to make money is with items you have laying around the house.  Many people have old comic books, baseball cards, or just old antiques laying around the house.  Many of you might not know that some of these items are worth a lot of money.  To find out what these items are worth you will want to get a third party to help authenticate or appraise the items you own.  Here is a list of a few places you can go to get some free help.

All you have to do to start is sign up to ebay.com.  Open up an account and start selling one or two items until you get a feel if people are interested in your items that you have for sale.  You will be amazed at what sells on ebay.
